Mary Marg Helgenberger, born December 16, 1958 in the United States is an actress. She began her acting career in the 1980s. her professional career, and was recognized as Siobhan Ryan's character on the daytime soap opera Ryan's Hope between 1982 and 1986. The most well-known of her roles is her performance as Catherine Willows in the CBS police procedural drama. Crime Scene Investigation (2000-13) and the subsequent TV movie Immortality (2015). She reprised her role in The follow-up film Vegas (2022-present). Helgenberger is also well-known for her portrayal of K.C. Koloski in the ABC show China Beach (1988-91) which gave her the Emmy Award for Outstanding Supporting Actress in a Drama Series. Her other credits include role in the TV show Under the Dome and Intelligence and in the film Species (1995) Species II (1998) Erin Brockovich (2000) and Mr. Brooks (2007). She is the oldest of four siblings. McCain was a student at her time at the Phoenix Country Day School, the only all-girls private Catholic school.
